Kevin Buchannon, a rather introverted thirteen year old boy, is in his sporty brother’s shadow. He is perceived as a wimp by his father and his comrades. He, is actually omit just looking for fatherly love and approval. One day he watches the crash of a strange looking plane in the woods near his home. Hastily rushing to the ship he finds a severely injured man, who introduces himself as Captain Turner. Turner tells Kevin the ship is a top-secret experimental aircraft and gives Kevin instructions to bandage and heal his wounds. At Turners request Kevin keeps the secret from his family and friends and quickly makes friends with the likeable man. Only when Turner looses consciousness due to the strain of his injuries the boy recognizes that he isn’t what he seems to be. In truth Turner is an monstrous alien, who is able to read people’s minds and change into any human form. He tells Kevin that his name is Tyr’Nar and that he is an alien bounty hunter. The teenager, getting the desperately wanted approval from Turner, believes him but doesn’t know that the alien keeps another, even more horrible secret from him. Only Kevin’s father can open theboy’s eyes to the truth and a merciless fight between him and Tyr’Nar begins.
