Since we do have a law in Germany that says that the Admin of a board is responsible for illegal posts or links that appear on the board (among other things) and lately there was an increase of new Users who only registered to publish illegal links, new users won't be activated automatically by email anymore. Under normal circumstances you shouldn't need to wait for your activation more than one day, so please be patient.
