| This was such a big risk for Chris, but it looks like it did not do any harm to his career. I could not figure out why he took this role but he sure did a good job with it.

| As far as I know he did not even really know what kind of role it was in the beginning. Is agent said do it and he did. If you ask me it wasn't the worst decision in his life.

| no it was not the worst decision. just something that was totally unexpected. I had gotten to see the Brit version of the show thanks to a friend who loaned me her tapes. I had never heard of QAF before. I was thinking how would this American version be like. They went alot farther then I thought they would have

Carmen, you are right. His agent told him nothing about this rule. But , I guess, it wasn't the first time he played a gay guy, right? The first time, he played with
Billy Chrystel but it didn't came out. Don't know why.

| Did I miss something. You know something I don't know, or I've forgotten about it. What movie with Billy Christal? And actually yes, it wasn't the first time. His character in Will & Grace was a a gay too.

Yes, I'v read in in an interview he gave about QAF. I guess it was on Lindas Website. I did print it out ,but I cannot find it. I remind he said,
it was not allowed to show it, cause that time people were very sensitive.

There was an interview being conducted while CP was on QAF I have a transcript from that interview on my pics site www.geocities.com/yinyang1062/index.html
There was a major bruha ha over an article he did for I believe Newsweek mag (I am not 100% sure if this is the mag) they turned his words around and made it look like he was a homophobe. He said it was taken out of context.

Dreamy, the sitcom he talked about was Material World. I never understood why he said that Tim was meant to be gay. Tim was Kitty's boyfriend and father of her unborn baby. I never saw him as gay or assexual.
Though actually he played a gay character before QAF. He was Michael in Will & Grace what must have been filmed shortly before QAF.

| I never could understand why they would think he was gay on Material World, he never showed in any way he was Gay. If anything he had a problem choosing which woman he was going to spend time with.

Hmm, that's a little bit strange. Maybe at first he should be gay, and then
they changed it, cause they noticed it wasn't good at that time to show.
But I don't know Material World, so I can't give a statement on it.
