Went to High School with director Vincenzo Natali and has appeared in three of his films. Had worked with Andrew Miller and suggested him to Vincenzo Natali for the movie: Cube.

Originally appeared as 'Rodney McKay', a one-off guest star in Stargate SG1 episode "48 Hours" . He was then invited back for the two-part episode "Redemption" the following season. When the shows creators were casting the Stargate spin-off "Stargate Atlantis", he was originally called in to read for a different role. However, he returned to the Stargate franchise as McKay, only this time, he was a series lead in the smash hit, Stargate Atlantis.

Hach, ich liebe Nicky ebenfalls. Seine etwas schrullige Art und die ständigen Probleme eine Frau zu finden, waren gar köstlich anzuschauen.
Am Besten hatte mich damals die Szene gefallen, als er Peter in der Folge Caine und das Verprechen helfen sollte, einzubrechen. Ich habe bei der Szene Tränen gelacht.

Vor kurzen war David auch in einer Folge von Nick Knight zu bewundern. Er spielte einen Bösewicht und sah einfach nur knuffig aus. Den Pscho hat er perfekt hinbekommen.

Demnächst können wir ihn ja in Stargate Atlantis bewundern. Ich bin mal gespannt, wie er da rüberkommt, oder ob ich ihn ständig mit Nicky vergleichen werde. In was anderem habe ich ihn bewusst noch nicht gesehen.

Den Thriller "Quiet killer - Schwarzer Tod" kann ich mir immer wieder ansehen ohne daß es langweilig werden würde. David spielt darin einen Journalisten, der unbedingt herausfinden will, was in diesem Krankenhaus so Geheimnisvolles vor sich geht. Als ich den Film das erste mal sah, kannte ich David Hewlett noch nicht als Nicky Elder. Er agierte überzeugend neben der Hauptdastellerin Kate Jackson, die ich bereits vorher in Filmen gesehen hatte.

Ja, ich hab mal kurz reingeschaut und ihn mit etwas mühe auch erkannt. Deine Beschreibung trifft es ziemlich, Spenser. *g* Stargate Atlantis wird bei mir aber wohl nicht den Stellenwert wie Stargate SG1 bekommen. So ganz überzeugt hat es mich noch nicht, aber ich habe auch nur einen Teil gesehen.

Wenn ich mir das Bild anschaue, dann muss ich immer dran denken, wie die Kollegen den armen Nicky in der Folge veräppelt haben, als der Gute in Urlaub wollte. Da bekam man direkt Mitleid mit dem quirligen und sehr sympathischen Coroner.
