Inhalt:
Peter entdeckt bei Ermittlungen in einer Kunstgallerie zu seiner Überraschung ein Portrait seines Vaters. Als Peter seinem Vater davon erzählt, erinnert sich Caine an ein Versprechen, das er einst der Malerin dieses Bildes gab und reist zu ihr. Er kommt gerade rechtzeitig um zu verhindern, dass die Malerin und ihr Mann aus fadenscheinigen Gründen aus der Stadt vertrieben werden. Dahinter steckt die Vertuschung eines Mordes, der ihrem Mann angelastet werden soll.

Immer, wenn ich die Folge ansehe, komme ich in´s Grübeln. Wieso malt sie ihn so, mit den längeren Haaren, und sogar noch ein bißchen knuffiger ... ?




... wenn er doch bei der Erstellung des Bildes eine ganz andere Optik hatte ?




Er sieht auf dem Bild eigentlich so aus, wie zu dem Zeitpunkt, als er sein Versprechen einlöst. Konnte die Dame hellsehen ?

that was a good painting done of Caine. I wonder who really did it.

Yes, Linda, that would be interesting.
And we wonder why Caine has long hair on it but when the picture was made he had shorter... I think it's a mistake in the script, nobody really thought about it when they ordered the picture.

Wow, what a good thought. It is such a major boo boo that I never noticed it.
Shame on me. As far as I remember, she painted the portrait while he was still with her, right?
If she didn't, I think one explanation could be, that she painted the portrait out of her remembrance, and then added the long hair, cuz she thought he would wear his hair now like that.

Hey, but did anybody notice that Caine looked really cute with the shorter haircut? I like this one much more, than the long hair.

I like both pictures but I would say the first one looks like Caine, the second like David.

I didn't think about it either, Tami. He does look good with the short hair now that you mention it.

Maybe, as an artist, she took artistic license and decided to make him with long hair. in the painting.
